ROLL MOULD

This mould can be used to make traditional Saint Maure style cheese and Fromage Frais.

Saint Maure is a classic goat cheese originating from the Loire region of France and has been made there in much the same way for over one thousand years. It can be easily recognized by its long form and small log-like shape.

This simple log shape or ‘Buche’ has been copied throughout the world, so it is no surprise that so much goat cheese in our supermarkets today are presented in the familiar log style cheese.
