Learn the art of cheese and yoghurt making with Joan and Clyde Berning who have 25 years experience in cheese making.  Held at the beautiful Nguni Restaurant in Plettenberg Bay we can cater for maximum 10 and minimum 6 participants. Participants will work in pairs making the products. The course includes a take home Finest Kind Combo Yoghurt and Cheese Beginner Kit

Courses run for two days. It is advisable to stay on a few days longer to enjoy the beautiful beaches and surrounds of the Garden Route ( 

Basic Course:

No prior knowledge of cheese making is required. The course has a theoretical as well as a practical “hands on” element. 

The program consists of:

 Production of Yoghurt

Production of Fromage Frais, a soft fresh cheese

Production of Feta

  • Manufacture
  • PH measurement
  • Brining
  • Packaging

The workshop is inclusive of on-going back up and product information by email.
